Crafted by a Logger.
Trusted by Generations.
Grizzly Peak began more that 40 years ago when Albert Altmiller of Orofino, Idaho, built his first axe scabbard after decades of timber-cutting experience. He introduced the rugged, aluminum design to loggers in North Idaho's Clearwater River region, where it quickly became an essential tool in the woods.
As logging boomed, so did demand for his scabbards. From the forests of Nort Idaho and Western Montana to the coasts of Oregon, and California, his innovation became a trusted standard. Today, our loggers and outdoorsmen around the world -trusted from the backwoods of North Americal and remote worksites across the globe.
Safety Through Superior Design & Materials
Our scabbards are built with one goal: to protect loggers in the toughest terrain. The unique design prevents the axe from jabbing into your side as you work, climb, or move through dense brush. Lightweight yet durable, our scabbards keep your tools within reach-without compromising safety.
Each scabbard is crafted from tempered aluminum, making it resistant to snow, rain, dirt and sawdust. Unlike leather or plastic carriers, they wont crack, wear out or absorb moisture. Built to outlast and outperform these scabbards are designed for those who work hard and expect their gear to do the same.
